What is DR?

Digital radiography (DR) is a technique for directly performing digital X–ray imaging using a computer. It is a technology that uses X–ray detectors to convert X–ray image information into digital signals under the control of a computer with image processing function.

What is CR?

CR (computed radiography) can be translated into computer radiography, or digital radiography. The digitization of CR is to replace the film and the intensifying screen through a re-readable imaging board (IP board). After exposure, the latent image is generated on the IP board, the IP board is placed in the CR scanner, and the IP board is scanned and read by the laser beam, and the digital image is generated after the analog and digital conversion.
