The X-ray machine consists of three important components:
• X-ray generator: X-ray beam is generated and directed to the product to be inspected and the belt that conveys the product.
• Detector: The X-ray detector is made of scintillator materials and can convert X-rays into visible light. The scintillator material is a row of photodiodes, located on the opposite side of the X-ray generator.
• Control System:. The control system will analyze the X-ray image formed on the detector of the detected product, and use the proprietary control system software to compare the image with the pre-set standard of the software to determine the rejection standard. The relationship between the three components is that the relationship between the X-ray detector and X-rays is the same as the relationship between the camera’s photosensitive elements and light.
