What is the difference between CR and DR in X-ray

What is the difference between CR and DR in X-ray?
First of all, in the faster imaging principle, both DR and CR convert analog information into digital information. The difference between the two is mainly due to the difference between X-ray acquisition and image conversion.

CR is an X-ray indirect conversion technique that uses IP as an X-ray medium. After the IP is irradiated with X-rays, the intensity variation of the X-rays is recorded in the form of a latent image. The latent image signal strength decreases with time. The laser scanner produces a red laser or a near-infrared laser. When the laser beam gradually scans the surface of the IP, the latent image signal is converted into visible light (photoluminescence effect) by laser.

DR uses a flat panel detector or a fluorescent plate CCD camera to directly convert X-ray photons into digital signals.

However, CR has been eliminated by the Chinese market. The manufacturer only produces DR. If you need it, please contact our customer service.Email:service@newheek.com
