The core of DR technology is X-ray flat panel detector
The core of DR technology is X-ray flat panel detector. X-ray flat panel detector is a kind of precise and precious equipment, which plays a decisive role in imaging quality. Familiar with the performance index of X-ray flat panel detector will help us improve imaging quality. And reduce X-ray radiation dose.
Amorphous selenium (a-Se) is a direct X-ray flat panel detector structure, which is mainly composed of a collector matrix, a selenium layer, a dielectric layer, a top electrode, and a protective layer. The collector matrix is composed of thin film transistors (TFTs) arranged in an array element manner.
The X-ray flat panel detector top electrode is connected to a high-voltage power supply. When X-rays are incident, due to the electric field formed by the high-voltage power supply on the surface of the amorphous selenium, they can only vertically pass through the insulating layer, X-ray semiconductor, and electron sealing layer in the direction of the electric field to reach the amorphous selenium. There will be no lateral deviation and light scattering. The amorphous selenium array directly converts X-rays into electrical signals, which are stored in the storage capacitor, and the pulse control gate circuit turns on the thin film transistor, and sends the charge stored in the storage capacitor to the output of the charge amplifier to complete the conversion of the photoelectric signal. The X-ray flat panel detector digital converter is converted to form a digital image and input into the computer, and the computer restores the image on the monitor and the doctor observes the monitor for direct diagnosis.
