What are the factors that affect the spatial resolution of flat panel detectors?

Factors affecting the spatial resolution of flat panel detectors:

In direct conversion flat panel detector, the spatial resolution is determined by the size of the thin film transistor matrix per unit area. The larger the matrix, the larger the number of thin film transistors, and the higher the spatial resolution, the higher the spatial resolution can be achieved.
In the indirect conversion flat panel detector, due to the scattering phenomenon, the spatial resolution is determined not only by the size of the thin film transistor matrix per unit area, but also by the control technique of the scattered light. Therefore, the spatial resolution of the indirect conversion flat panel detector is lower than the spatial resolution of the direct conversion flat panel detector.
