What are the advantages of the DR x ray flat panel?

There are two main types of digital X-ray imaging technology, one called CR (Computed Radiography), which has been used for 15 years and has changed the work of radiology. Digital X-rays increase workload and eliminate the need for film rinsing, storage, and transportation. One type of DR x ray flat panel is mainly used to collect rays and convert them into digital images through special photosensitive materials.
DR is: digital imaging technology, there are two main types of DR technology: one is called a charge-coupled device (CCDs), which is called a DR x ray flat panel. The main advantage of the charge-coupled device technology is the fast image acquisition capability (30 祯/s), which is very important in cardiovascular and other fluoroscopy applications. The disadvantage is that the spatial resolution of the CCD is limited, and there is noise and bulk in the image intensifier. DR x ray flat panel technology has the advantage of being used in perspective to replace the 100-pound image intensifier with a TV camera with a 15-20 lb receiver. In this way, the DR x ray flat panel allows the equipment manufacturer to provide a system that is 90% smaller and 85% lighter than current products. It replaces the image intensifier to make it smaller and lighter. The DR x ray flat panel allows the R/F to be designed to be smaller and frees the device from the radiologist’s habits. Without a large image intensifier, patient anatomy images that were previously impossible to see are now easy to implement. But the biggest weakness of DR is that it is expensive and needs further development.
