How to choose the appropriate flat panel detector

Recently, a dealer customer consulted our flat panel detector. During this period, the customer did not understand what is the direct conversion flat panel detector and the indirect conversion flat panel detector. In the direct conversion flat panel detector, there is no visible light, so there is no scattering, and the spatial resolution depends on the size of the thin film transistor matrix per unit area. The larger the matrix, the larger the number of thin-film transistors, the higher the spatial resolution, and with the improvement of technology, higher spatial resolution can be achieved.

 

In the indirect conversion flat panel detector, scattering is produced due to the generation of visible light. Generally, the spatial resolution of indirect conversion flat panel detector is not as high as that of direct conversion flat panel detector.
