Customer asked about Dr panel detector classification

Recently, I received a call from a client. They are a private practice. They want to buy Dr flat panel detector but they don’t know how to choose. We recommend our flat panel detectors to our customers.

Flat panel detectors can be divided into amorphous selenium flat panel detectors and amorphous silicon flat panel detectors. The amorphous selenium flat panel detector is mainly composed of amorphous selenium layer TFT. The incident X-rays cause electron-hole pairs to be generated in the selenium layer. Under the influence of an external bias electric field, pairs of electrons and holes move in opposite directions to form a current, which forms a stored charge in the thin film transistor. The amount of stored charge in each transistor corresponds to the dose of incident X-rays. By reading out the circuit, we can know the amount of charge at each point, and then the X-ray dose at each point.

New seek X-ray detector is an accurate and valuable device. What should you pay attention to during use?

1. Since the detector is a complex, high-precision electronic medical device, please pay attention to all movements of the detector! When carrying the detector, prevent it from sliding. When carrying, hold it with both hands; collision, dropping or strong vibration may damage the device!

2. When using the detector, be sure to place the device on a flat surface. Particles underneath or uneven surfaces can damage the device.

3. The working temperature range of the detector is 5-35℃, and the working humidity range (@25℃) is 30-75%RH. Exceeding the specified working environment will reduce the performance of the detector and even cause irreparable damage.

4. Do not spill liquid or chemical reagents on the surface of the detector, otherwise it may cause an electric shock hazard. In the event of harm to the patient, a disposable sterile protective cover should be used to separate the detector from the patient before it comes into contact with blood or other body fluids.
