Classification according to the internal structure of the DR detector and the way of digital conversion
According to the internal structure of the DR detector, it can be divided into: amorphous selenium flat panel detector, amorphous silicon flat panel detector, multifilament proportional chamber scanning type and CCD detector. According to the method of digital conversion, it is divided into direct conversion and indirect conversion.

The amorphous selenium DR detector is mainly composed of a substrate, a collector matrix, a selenium layer, a dielectric layer, a top electrode, and a protective layer.
The amorphous silicon DR detector is composed of a protective layer, a reflective layer, a scintillation crystal layer, a detection element array layer, a signal processing circuit layer, and a support layer.
With the further development of science and technology in recent years, DR detectors have had a larger market. Mainly because the DR detector is equipped with a computer to be able to image instantly. It has the characteristics of rapid imaging and can meet people’s requirements for efficiency.
